Discover what you can do with your degree!

We’re looking for movers and shakers to be part of our 2021 Graduate Program.

Starting full time in early Feb 2021, we offer two and four-year Graduate Programs that will see you rotating through key business areas.

In each rotation you’ll be overcoming real life challenges and taking on meaningful assignments. You’ll make new contacts, work on different projects and most importantly, bring about a positive change.

We’re excited to offer opportunities to graduates from a range of disciplines.

The two-year Engineering Graduate Program is designed for emerging professional Engineers who know they want to pursue a career in the water industry and want to find out everything about it.

These experiences are designed to help you understand where your particular skills and interests best fit within the different types of roles that are on offer – from modelling to analysis, optimisation to design, corporate risk to procurement – one of the hardest decisions you have to make as an Urban Grad is where to begin your career. This program will help you work that out.

For the first time, we also offer a four-year program for Engineers focused on a career in water, wastewater and treatment plant infrastructure delivery.

The professional development program will allow our engineering graduates to gain valuable experience, early in the formative years of their careers across the fundamental engineering disciplines of:

  • Project Business Case & Benefit Definition
  • Feasibility, Preliminary & Detailed Design
  • Program & Project Management
  • Procurement & Contract Administration
  • Construction Management
  • Commissioning & Assurance

We are in the unique position to be able to offer you rotations in the various aspects of capital delivery of water assets from feasibility studies, through to design, construction and hand over of major infrastructure projects. We do this by working side by side with our embedded engineering design partners and our contract delivery partners, offering rotations in their teams as well as ours, providing exposure to client side, engineering consultant and construction project delivery experience. Your learning experience through this program will stand you in good stead to achieve RPEQ accreditation.

This program will be attractive to studious graduates from civil, mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines.

Due to the huge success of our Data Analytic graduate program that kicked off in 2020, we will again be offering places to Graduates who love all things data!

If you know how to bring data to life and can hear the story it is telling you – we want you!

You will have the opportunity to work in four teams around the business to analyse data and work with us to implement changes based on your findings.

Is this you?
