Looking for some water savvy, garden inspiration?
It's no secret that water is a critical component when establishing a garden. But there are many ways you can achieve great results without compromising plants and water use.
Good water saving habits are close to our hearts, because it’s essential we save water all the time – not just in times of drought and water restrictions.
So, we've partnered up with the energetic folk at Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (B4C) to create a water savvy garden to inspire even the most novice of gardeners.
The primary purpose of the garden will be to provide education and training in sustainable gardening activities. It has been designed to cater for all green thumbs, with sections dedicated to specific purposes such as apartments.
So, whether you have your own patch of dirt or a balcony full of pots, follow along our journey with the B4C team as they get their hands dirty.

The B4C experts cover a range of topics including: incorporating water conservation into design thinking; the lawn test that explains why timing is everything when it comes to lawn growth and water saving; plant selection and making the right decisions; and why designing with pots could be the next best thing.
Information will be progressively updated as the garden is being built, so please come back to see what's new!
