Changes to Major Works Design Packages from 1 October 2019

On 1 October 2019 the Major Works Design Package requirements have changed to help applications to be approved on the first submission. Together through enhanced quality assurance we’re improving efficiency and safeguarding infrastructure design.

What’s new?

All Major Works Design Packages must be accompanied by the new Major Works Design Package Submission form, which lists the information critical to the timely assessment of your Design Approval. Ensuring your application is complete and correct will keep your project moving with fewer requests for information.

Design packages that do not include the mandatory submission form, or are otherwise incorrect or incomplete, will be refused and new lodgement fees will apply.

How to lodge

Upload the completed Major Works Design Package Submission form and necessary attachments to the Developer Application Portal.
