Changes to 2019-20 Infrastructure Charges

Queensland Urban Utilities’ development fees and charges are set in accordance with infrastructure charges levied by councils across our service areas of Brisbane City Council, Ipswich City Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.

New 2019-20 council infrastructure charges are anticipated to come into effect on 1 July 2019. Following publication of updated infrastructure charge rates from our shareholder councils, our Water Netserv Charges Schedule and developer fees and charges will be revised to come into effect on this date.

Products and Services Review 2019

In March 2019 we carried out our first major review of our developer products and services to ensure the ongoing delivery of high quality services to our customers, while continuing to deliver good value for money. We’re now providing more tailored services to suit the different needs of our customers. These changes were part of a wider improvement program focused on what our customers have told us is most important: faster application turn-around times, strong customer service and consistency and value for money.

The revised fees and services, outlined in our Developer Customer Price List below, come into effect on March 28, 2019 and apply across our service territories of Brisbane City Council, Ipswich City Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.
