Construction of a new 430 metre, 500mm diameter sewer main joining the cross-river pipeline from the Toowong network in Hockings Streets and the South Brisbane network in the Boundary Street intersection via Mollison Street was completed in December 2014.

This essential upgrade ensures the sewerage network is able to cater for future population growth.

This $3 million investment in West End’s future improves capacity to cater for future development and protect against sewer overflows by linking with the Toowong and South Brisbane sewer networks.
