Some works that take place on our assets require the network to be partially shut down (and sometimes temporary systems put in place) so that work can be carried out effectively.
Depending on the work you are planning, you may require either a ‘Water Network Isolation Plan’ or Water Shutplan (SP) or a ‘Sewerage Network Isolation Plan’ or Sewer Flow Control Plan (FCP).
If your job requires one of these plans, we will identify this from your Network Access Permit request and draft the plan on your behalf. The approved plan(s) will be attached to your approved Network Access Permit.
Isolation Plans, once approved, are valid for a period of 90 days. After the 90 day period has lapsed the Isolation Plan must be reviewed by our Network Access Team.
You will need to allow, on average, 15 days once you submit your Network Access Permit request until you receive the approved plan.
If your activities are related to a new water connection or new sewer connection, please contact our Development Services Team.
Depending on the work you are planning to undertake, you may require either a Water Network Isolation Plan.
