Queensland Urban Utilities finished repairing the burst water main on Creek Street in Brisbane’s CBD and reopened all lanes to traffic at 4pm.

The inbound lanes of Eagle Street, between Queen Street and Charlotte Street, was closed temporarily while our crews cleaned the road. Eagle Street was re-opened at 7:30am.

Two turning lanes in Creek Street were closed while we repaired the pipe.

The burst was reported at 5:37am, causing water to flow onto Eagle Street.

No customers were without water.

The burst was reported at 5:37am. It caused water to flow onto Eagle Street, which has now subsided.

The inbound lanes of Eagle Street between Queen Street and Charlotte Street were closed temporarily while our crews cleaned the road. Eagle Street was re-opened at 7:30am.
