Urban Utilities advises there will be a temporary lane closure on Finch Rd between Roxborough St and Pine St, Canungra from Tuesday July 14 to Friday July 17.

The inbound lane on Finch Rd will be temporarily closed to traffic (24/7) while upgrades are carried out at the Canungra Sewage Treatment Plant.

The lane closure is required to allow tankers to access the treatment plant. One lane will remain open at all times with traffic control in place to maintain access to the Canungra Rise Estate.

Tankers will be travelling along Finch Rd, Christie St and Beaudesert-Nerang Rd.

Work is expected to take four days (subject to weather conditions) and will be carried out at the plant between 6.30am and 6pm.

A notification has been delivered to impacted residents in the Canungra Rise Estate via letterbox drop.

We thank the community for its patience while we carry out this essential work.
