QLD Government Concealed Leak Remission
The State Government has launched a new remission scheme for concealed leaks, offering a 70% remission on the State Bulk Water Charge component of the leak cost for eligible home owners. Eligible pensioners receive 100% remission. This scheme provides additional relief on top of existing relief measures by Urban Utilities and other providers.

State Government Pensioner Water Subsidy Scheme
If you have a valid pension or concession card from Centrelink or Department of Veteran Affairs, you may be entitled to a concession on your water and sewerage charges.

Queensland Seniors Card
The Queensland Government Seniors card is not an eligible card to receive the State Government Pensioner Water Subsidy. However, you can check your eligibility for other concessions and rebates for Queenslanders on the Smart Savings website.

Energy Bill Relief
Queensland’s vulnerable households and small businesses will receive a new energy bill rebate of $500 in the 2023-24 financial year under the Energy Bill Relief Fund, jointly delivered by the Queensland and Australian governments.
